My sermons are approximately 30 to 45mins long. If you have specific time requests, you can let me know.

I also do invocations that are 7 to 20mins long AND workshops that are 2-4hrs long.

You can imagine the invocation as a more refine and action packed super short sermon. You could imagine the workshop like a sermon with practical exercises (like guided meditation, congregational singing, etc.) and playfulness (like dancing, hand games, etc).

My sermons are spiritual but not necessarily religious. However, I do draw insights from religious texts and show much honor and reverence to each JUST AS I show much honor and respect to the Black feminist texts and secular music that I lift up.

My experience is that folks who have experienced church hurt find the sermonic space healing because of how I (a Black, Gender Non-Conforming, Lesbian, Trans*, Non-Binary, Queer person) lift up those texts and put them in conversation with sacred Black feminist and secular texts.

We also amplify an expansive understanding and languaging of the divine infinite (aka the Oneness, God, Love, Lifeforce, Olodumare, Allah, Unified Field, Divine Indwelling Intelligence, etc.). Let’s explore and reason together!

With your invitation be prepared to offer your best hospitality and cover an honorarium for me and the team plus all travel costs (air, ground, accommodation, food, etc.). Remember that this is also a fundraiser to support other aspects of the work. In addition to funds we are growing relationship and generative connection. So, your capacity to offer great hospitality should also be factored into your comprehensive budgeting for this event/invitation please. I may bring folks to supplement the fundraising effort by offering adornment, tools and/or books to those gathered. Individuals will also be able to make additional donations.

If you are inviting the choir as well their costs will also require the same support.
